I was at Ft Benning this past weekend visiting with my Son and many of the troops. Most were infantry or in infantry training, (ranger school, airborne school, etc.) Others were in transportation companies and units. Some were returning from deployments while others were getting ready to be deployed. The over-all morale is good. I asked several what they thought about Obama becoming their commander in chief. All declined to talk about it.
Huge protests outside the main gate where they were protesting the, "School of America".
I am amazed at how much this particular installation does for it's troops and their families. Much different than when I was in.
