If I recall in my conversation with Jeff, not only did he email Bill a few times, but he also tried to call. Jeff, can you confirm this? (When you get up for biz in a few hours)

Did the editor deny I called, left messages at the PR by phone and emailed several times with no answer? I guess this must be another right wing conspiracy against the PR and it's editor1. Ahum!

I just checked on the PR website regarding that long forum which was posting in regard to Jeff and the other conservatives getting blocked. It's was over 20 pages. It's gone also, I guess it just disappeared on its own as well.

"This has been asked and answered, but I'll do it again: The threads on Jeff Woehrle and Gary Smith were closed down by me late at night because both threads had gone off into personal attacks. I deleted the offending posts, did nothing about the posters (who appeared to simply be temporarily overwrought) and shut down the threads because I had no intention of staying up all night to referee a squat and bullroar match over nothing. If people would forego the seventh grade approach and stick to civil discourse, the threads would still be up. I'd have reopened them the next morning, except by then we were dealing with Daisycutter's bomb threat, so I just left them shut down.

I'm looking at this situation as pretty well settled. The P.
Record has made it plain that they choose to tolerate few
conservative posters while the liberal nut-jobs have free
reign. No problem.

Yet another newspaper that has drifted from balanced to partisan
and has lost credibility as a result.

Gary has plans in the works for this site. I think I can
guarantee that it won't be tame...
