When is Nobama going to pull our troops out and send them home? Why is Nobama Killing all these innocent civilians? This is his watch now! He can order the military not to do it. Isn't that what the left wingers have been crying about for the past several years.

That's exactly my point Cat. the protests were aimed at a conservative President much in the same way conservatives are getting banned from posting on the record and other left wing publications. It would not have mattered had Bush Won the war outright, the protests would still be there against him and the media crucification against him,(Bush) would have be just as harsh.

Bottom LineNobama is allowing innocents in other countries to be killed via US War Planes, Air Strikes and Ground Troops. I want our Troops home now before the death toll of US service men and women gets even higher. If Nobama does not do this immediately It is my opinion that Impeachment should be forth-coming. Liberals should not have a problem with my point of view as it has been their view for almost the past 8 years.

I'm with you on the obama impeachment - and there should be no problem at all for the libs - it is precisely what they are calling for now re. Bush.

Having said that rockne1865, aren't you appalled at Nobama? The war in Iraq is still being waged by US troops and people are still being killed. Nobama could, if he wanted to call a halt to US action and put all US troops on a defensive mode only. That's hasn't happened.

Is it the position of those of you on the left that the deaths of innocent civilians is perfectly fine in Afghanistan only? Bush had wanted to send 30,000 additional troops there, are you backing Nobama in not sending additional troops or do you think he needs to escalate? He's actually been a fence rider to date with both fronts. Another do nothing Lib.

Iraq has been useful for the United States in that it forced the terrorists to fight us THERE rather than HERE. That's the whole point: A battleground of OUR choosing that keeps OUR citizens safe.

In the perfect flower-child world, everyone always gets along, nobody gets their feelings hurt and the sky is always blue. In reality, a bunch of wild-eyed Muslim fanatics hate everything about the United States (and the West in particular) and see the only solution is to kill each and every one of us. A goal neatly realised on 9/11.

George Bush took the fight to them, so innocents in this country were spared the damage and death. Iraq has worked out perfectly in that regard. Obama's reluctance to immediately remove all US troops shows that maybe, just maybe, he now sees what G. Bush saw all along: Iraq is a value to us in this fight. And that value is too high to just give away.
