Burnley Employment and Rehabilitation Services has been providing training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities in the Greater Poconos since 1964. The founders aimed to provide individuals that had mental, physical or emotional disabilities with stimulating work, steady pay and the chance to be taxpaying, involved community members. After more than four decades, the vision is unchanged, and the organization is robust.
