CSI: POCONO -- UPDATE
The human remains found on parts of Rte 80 and 380 have finally been identified as 36 year old Deanna Marie Null of the Scranton and Williamsport areas. Her family apparently saw the news coverage, recognized the description, and contacted the police. A positive identification was then made. Null was last seen alive in mid-January, getting into an older model dark-colored Cadillac or Buick sedan with either a leather or cloth top. The vehicle also had a four-to-five strip-chrome luggage rack on the trunk lid with a white license plate. The driver has been described as a black male with a military-style haircut and stocky build, possibly anywhere from 5'9" to 6' tall. Police are unsure if this is the same Deanna Null who pleaded guilty to drug possession and conspiracy charges in 2003 in Lycoming County, then later violated parole. Williamsport police are trying to verify if this was also the same woman who was the target of a drive-by shooting in the Willamsport area in 2002. Anyone with any more information is asked to please call 570-839-7701.
