The woman who's body parts were found in trash bags along Rtes 80 and 380 had been identified as Deanna Marie Null, a woman who had been described as a "drifter". She also had a few scattered drug crimes recently in her life. The latest development to this story is that more body parts of hers have been found -- in the house of Charles Ray Hicks of Tobyhanna -- who apparently knew Null. Hicks denies killing her or dismembering her. His family and friends are shocked and claim that Hicks could never have done this. However police have found some interesting hard evidence in this case which includes a blood-stained boot in the trunk of Hicks's car, a saw in a bag in the closet of his home, and garbage bags in his attic that match the ones used in the crime. Null's hands were found in a plumbing compartment in Hick's house as well. Hicks has confessed that he had physical relations with Null and they had done drugs together in the past, but currently can't explain the evidence. He also has other charges against him. He has been charged with assault, robbery, and sexual assault in the states of Texas and Virginia during the years 2002, 2004 and 2006.
